I hope you'll join me to learn more about the beauty and healing qualities of seashells. While walking along a Florida Beach, I couldn't help but be intrigued by the wide array of beautiful shells scattered in the sand. Each was like a little found treasure. After returning home, I wanted to incorporate these shells into my massage therapy work. Stone massage had been one of my favorite services and by then had done hundreds of them. As I played with the shells, I found them much lighter and easier to handle. When used on my clients, the shells seem to offer a light uplifting energy. Shell Massage was very compatible with most client's intention of getting a massage to lift off the heavy pressures of their busy lives. My goal quickly became to pull from my teaching background and develop a large array of strokes and techniques for seashell massage, then introduce others to the beautiful new massage. I spent months gathering ideas, analyzing shells and modifying strokes to create a style of shell massage I call C. Shell Massage. It is a 'tongue & cheek' abbreviation for "Carole Freeman's way of doing seashell massage". You'll enjoy the "Official C. Shell Massage Manual" with 360 photo illustrating 140 strokes, and 1 hour training DVD. Training kits include a collection of all the seashells discussed and illustrated in the material.
